歷史來源「黃」源出;

黃巢 (？～884)
唐曹州人。出身鹽商，積財聚眾，尤好收留亡命之徒。唐懿宗以來，因皇室奢侈過度，賦稅沈重，加上連年發生水﹑旱災，遂致民不聊生，盜匪群起。僖宗乾符元年（西元874)，王仙芝率盜匪起事，翌年黃巢起兵響應，乾符五年王仙芝敗死於湖北，黃巢被推舉為衝天大將軍，率眾攻掠江﹑浙﹑閩﹑粵等地，廣明元年（西元 880)陷洛陽、長安，僖宗逃奔成都，巢自號為帝，國號大齊。唐以官爵籠絡李克用相援，大敗黃巢，巢自刎身亡，為害十年的黃巢之亂始告結束，史稱為黃巢之亂。
黃道婆
元朝時擅於紡織技術的女工藝家。曾隨崖州黎族學習紡織技術，學成後返鄉從事紡織工作，促成棉紡織業的進步，使元明以後的松江細布聞名於四方。紡織業者遂立祠祭之，以感其功。亦稱為黃婆。
