Powered by FreeBSD

This blog is powered by FreeBSD and now my laptop also powered by FreeBSD, it took a century to setup FreeBSD desktop machine, portupgrade, portinstall.. Now I only manage to get Firefox, Thunderbird and x-chat installed… It take so so so long time to configure…

Use pkgadd to install binaries, it would save up some time. When you’re going off to bed or something, portupgrade those so that you’d recompile it back in sources (which is more safer). That’s how I played around with ports/pkgsrc each clean install.
