  • HuaWei + HSDPA = Better Than Streamyx

    Been using 3G for few days, it’s… I think better than Streamyx. And the Hua Wei 3G modem is small, can get it at Low Yat, just mention you want a HuaWei E200 3G Modem.

    If your area support HSDPA/3GX, you will be lucky to get the connection at 1Mb/s. If it’s only 3G, can get around 512KB/s, good enough for downloading email and do some work.

    Hua Wei 3G modem card is RM1200, can it at Compuzone, Low Yat.

    For 3G subscription you can either subscribe to Maxis at RM99/month or Celcom at RM120/month. But I would recommend Celcom, they have better speed than Maxis at the moment.

  • A Very Fark Up TMNet

    After 14 workings day, still /dev/null update from TM/TMNet. People in Telekom is basically Tai-Chi master, when I called TMNet, they ask me call TM, when I called TM, they ask me call 1300. So when I called 1300, they ask me call TM Activation which is +603-26870111, and this line is busy like hell, is like taking long queue to hell, and waiting for special prosecution.

    After the 14 workings days, I thought I found some hope when I called TM Activation, they were being very nice, told me will update/escalate with TM, and get back to me in 24 hours, and added with some hoping message to me, they said

    “If you can’t see your DSL light tomorrow, please call us.”.

    Oh! Finally, finally there is someone give me a little bit bit hope. Since the 14 working days, everyday i got home, I call them and “update” them,

    “Hi, my DSL light is still /dev/null.”

    And this time, they give me little more hope by saying,

    “Sir, we will make this very urgent, your jumper is not done yet, we will escalate to TM urgently. If you don’t see the light tomorrow, please call us…”

    Ok, I continue doing that until yesterday night, which really farking pissed me off the hill. I called them again,

    “My DSL light still NOTHING at all.”

    So they give me the same farking reply, let me copy and paste it right now,

    “Sir, we will make this very urgent, your jumper is not done yet, we will escalate to TM urgently”.

    This time I cannot tahan,

    “What the fark, every farking time I called you guys, give me the same farking advice, what the fark are you guys doing? How many time you want me to call? Everyday say the same farking things to me, did you guys write it down? Please read the report I made yesterday!”

    So this time, this is the really pissed me off to the max!, The fellow said,

    “Yes, we did record your report”

    I said,

    “Read it loud now what report I made yesterday..”

    The fellow,

    “You… errr…..” tut……. tut…….. tut……… tut….. (The phone hang up)

    Yes, that mother farking hung up my call! I wonder how TM or TMNet can be awarded as Best Internet Service Provider in Asia. And it’s now 18 Working Days, my TM Net Streamyx is still farking dead. So this morning I went to TM Point, give them a big hug and thank you for providing such wonderful experience to me.

    I terminated my land line phone and TM Net Streamyx this morning!

    So how do I online right now? It’s HuaWei E220 3G card with Maxis 3G, although it’s more expensive than streamyx, I am willing to pay as long as I get what I want. Right now, I am extremely disappointed with TM services! Best Internet Service Provider huh? Ya ya.. fark it. Read my blog and see how many complains and people suffer from their services.

  • It has been 14 WORKING DAYS!

    It has been 14 working days.

    In 14 working days, we could have done a lot of things.

    For travel, we can travel to Hong Kong for 5 days 4 nights, then travel to Vietnam 5 days 4 nights, come back to Malaysia, rest another 4 days, and get back to work.

    For work, I can develop a content management system, fair enough to get the backend 50% done with symfony framework. Or I can do 10,000 lines of code with a lot lot debugging and troubleshooting.

    In 14 working days, TM’s CEO Datuk Wahid can travel around Europe and close 1 or 2 multi billion business sales. After that, can also enjoy massage or SPA for 2 days.

    In 14 working days, KFC could have made a million for their business in Malaysia. KFC advertisement could also air on Hitz.FM for more than 50 times.

    In 14 working days, mamak selling rojak that ride motorbike can make about RM1500 for his “rojak” business.

    In 14 working days our telco engineers could have tested 14 leased lines in 24 hours, complete loop back from end to end, site to site.

    In 14 working days, Pak Lah can go around the Malaysia and give a good talk. Same as Mahathir could have rest well at home. And to Samy Vellu, he could have passed by Smart tunnel for 28 times!

    In 14 working days, streamyx users could have been used up 1/2 month of their internet broadband usage.

    14 working days are 1/2 of our month passed by and another week will be a pay out day.

    But, for my case, 14 working days, TM still haven’t jumpered my streamyx line. Day by day, I called them, they keep on give me the same “solution”. “Tomorrow evening, turn on your modem, see wether your DSL light is on?”. Everyday, after work, I got home, pray to Guan Yim, pray my internet line is okay, is ready, is jumpered, is gao dim-ed, sudah bolehed. But this TM disappointed me day by day, week by week. And this TM is not bloody sure how the internet is so important to me, basically it ruins part of my life.

    Basically TM wasted my 4 hours everyday to do my own work and browse some “movies”. Let’s calculate only working days, it wasted 64 hours of mine to do work and watch some “movies”. Weekend doesn’t count! Which is Saturday and Sunday, discount on that, allright?

    Then come to the calculation part, calls I made to TM, every time I called TM, minimum, please mind my word, “minimum”, minimum I have to spend 10 to 15 minutes on the line, if some time I get lucky, I just need to spend 20 minutes on the line. I can even sambil watch Astro and telephone TM.

    Ok, practice, even in my dream I also dreamt I called TM. Start with the “Sila tekan Satu Untuk Bahasa Malayu, Please Press Two for English.” After that, continue with “Sorry, all our customer agents are busy… bla bla…” Then after that, listen to the song, “We are great, we are good.. bla bla bla…”. After that, finally, or thanks Guan Yim, if you are lucky, in 5 minutes, someone may pick up your line, even me also know what they will say when first pick up the phone. “Selamat petang, terima kasih telefon ke TM.. bla bla bla”. After that, what happened? I give them my report no., this is the best part, they will take about another 5 minutes to read my ticket, because my case is Superb, too long, too many escalations. In the end of the conversation, they will say, “Please check your line tomorrow, it should be ready”. When I asked, “Are you sure? Because this is the 11th time I heard this”. “Not sure sir, but you have to check, if it’s not ready, please call back to us.”

    Oh your flower mother and your father daddy chicken pox! Return call return call, you think calling you guys is fun is it? Calling you guys is free of charge is it? I really don’t know what the up hill are you guys doing, I have been a very very kind and generous TM’s user all this while, paying the bill on time, sometime I even pay 1 month earlier, never been late, never at all. Then you mother father serve me like a chicken pox.

    TM, Merintis Kemungkinan. What a chicken. Tomorrow I am going to terminate one of my streamyx line. Thanks Datuk Wahid for having the best team in Malaysia. Kerana-mu, we are a failure users.

  • Payback Time!

    After reading some news on Mkini regarding KJ’s traffic summons. Out of curiosity, i checked my traffic summon too. Well, I talked about some great driver who drove me from AS to KL in 3 1/2 hours on the 10th June. Great speed comes with price too, so how? 50/50? 😀

    servicing industry, which mean you provide valuable services in your business to your customer. so the one who pay your salary is the one that you serve; customer. my job industry is a servicing industry, we are an ISP. same like TMNet but we are not as big as them, we are just a small potatoes, because compare to us and TM, we are nothing.

    Provide good quality of service will build good customer tree in your business, customer like it, they love how you serve them, they are happy on what they pay and what they get it. but good quality service comes with price, i have seen a lot people complaint us for price, because they make some compare with local telcos, but most of them are don’t get the behind scene on why it’s expensive/cheap. I bet you guys heard no free lunch in this world. Well, there is no good quality of service and IP in low price too. even though we are small, but we are still surviving because we have better quality of services compare to some others telco players.

    recently i am very very unhappy with tmnet, i registered my streamyx account 2 weeks ago, suppose to be activated in 3 days after the registration, but it has been delayed to 2 weeks+. nobody will be happy if it keeps on continue put back the activation. actually i am tiring calling the 1300’s no. and talk to the guys and ask for update on the status everyday, and everyday repeating the same question to them and they give me the same update, which is wait. wait wait wait wait… i seem to be calm down a lot because i don’t talk damn bloody loud on the phone and furthermore i knew it doesn’t help much not matter how loud you swear to them and it’s nothing to them. they told me the jumper is not set yet/the jumper is having problem. i am in the telco industry, how hard to set the jumper mate? it take less than 5 minutes to set a jumper and it also takes less than a day to do a loop back. in 2 weeks, you can set jumper for thousand times and do loop test for 10 times, also perform some repair for more than 5 times if something is wrong with jumper.

    To be frank, I think this is human/attitude problem more than a jumper problem. this is the problem when you live in a country that no one care about consumer, no matter how many complaint you made, it wouldn’t help. for a large telco like TM, i think they don’t really care about the consumer? don’t you agreed with me? you can see a lot of complains on google when you make a search on tm net or streamyx. but is there any action taken against them or do they improve their quality of services? If yes, I will not the late activation until today, not yet solve until now.

    okay, lets think about it, if you don’t subscribe to TM services who is the other provider you can subscribe to for a land line broadband with a low cheap rate? I can say Nobody. We have to live with it in this country, the largest telco has monopolized the market, if you don’t subscribe to them, it doesn’t hurt much in their business, because they know in the end of the day, you will still looking for them, even though their is services is sucks.

    well, to the boys out there, save your breath complaining to TM, I think they don’t really care about you guys, better that you spend your time have a teh tarik in mamak with your friend or turn on your tv and watch some movie like what i did.

    What can I do right now? Wait
