    Takizo Furniture Shop Sdn Bhd, the boss is looking for a company to design his shop’s website. He tried to hook up with some local web design companies. He is confuse now, different company has offered him different packages and services. Well, for a boss of a furniture shop, he doesn’t know what is CSS, Flash, Animation, Template, Email Hosting, Web Hosting and Search Engine Optimization. Beside that, the range of web design quotations are from as low as RM450 to as high as RM15,000. It’s confusing isn’t it?

    Paulie Ooi, a website developer works with Macrosoft Sdn Bhd. He designed and developed 75% of the website projects that belongs to Macrosoft Sdn Bhd. He is frustrated; Even though, he has worked with Macrosoft for more than 5 years, the salary increment is only 5% more than the day he started work. Every project he done for the company, there is no commission given to him. If he is the one who did the projects, why not he becomes freelance and get project direct from the companies? He can’t! Because he is not a business minded person.

    An owner of the furniture shop is confuse with the price and range of services. A developer who did all the job which have the potential to become self-employ, but have not idea where to recruite project. Then I have a recommendation.

  • Today is MacBook Day?[Revisited]

    I heard that… Apple is going to announce the new MacBook today(Tuesday). I also heard that… MacBook will be thinner than current iBooks. Beside that, it will be available in both black and white configurations. Also. the bad news, it will cost slightly higher than previous iBook models. What is the time now in US? Just keep on waitng, but from reliable sources, Apple has confirmed to announce it today.

    Apple has postpone the annoucement to next Tuesday. Wondering why they like Tuesday 😛

    All this while, I only have chance to maintain Unix/Linux server. I have heard of Windows Server, but never try or use it before(don’t have $$$ to try). Until recently, helping a friend to “patch” the server, after patch, it ask me to…

    Now I know why Windows server easily got attacked. Restart server? I rather don’t patch if need to restart server 😛

  • Ruud Awakening

    So folks (especially MAN UTD fans), i’m sure you heard of the most recent hot news in Old Trafford right? Ruud Van Nistelrooy has fallen out of favour with Sir Alex and yesterday (before the Charlton game) the Dutch striker left the stadium before the match because he was left on the subs bench.

    Well, looks like he’s leaving the club for good – no doubt. I’m interested to hear what other red devils fans think about his reactions as well as your thoughts on who should or is going to replace MU’s top scorer this season.

    Also, which other players should Ferguson buy to strengthen the different positions in the squad.
