  • Dell buys/bought Alienware?

AlienwareA popular computer hardware company, Alienware; which sells high end desktops, laptops and workstations was bought by Dell? According report on CNet, it seem like Dell may have bought Alienware to become part of their strong growing PC/Laptop business.

Dell ComputerI remember Henry asked me to buy Alienware laptop last time, Alienware design really kickass, looks very powerful and high-end, but I was not so sure how the performance would be. Wondering if there are any Malaysians who own an Alienware machine? I would like to have one, but the price is high…

  • Human Being

Some people, when they become rich, I mentioned “Some” and not all, their attitudes become very vulgar, uneducated, unrespectable, demoralising to others and dot dot dot dot dot with very bad attitudes. While they talk to you, they call you things like bugger, idiot, moron, retard, bastard or the way they talk to you is just like talking to an animal.

I always wonder how come this kind of people can be at the top. They do not know how to respect their staff, how do they expect the staff to respect them? It’s so funny when you listen to them talking that way, you’d think they are like a small kids, talking without filter from the brain.

They and us are also humans, how can they talk to us like that? Is it because they have more money and more power than we do, so they have the authority to treat us like that? Frankly, dealing with this kind of persons, if they don’t respect me, I won’t give a damn about them. No matter how successful or damn rich they are, they are just a pieces of shit and/or jackass.

It’s just a job. I am a talented person, if you don’t appreciate me, others people will. Other people have more good-will than you. Other companies can provide me better offers than you, jackasses. Don’t think that just because you are rich, I am your bitch.

    Respect.

  • Malaysian Income Analysis

A forwarded email, which makes sense to me 🙂 After thinking about it, maybe I move back to Alor Setar better 😀

I’ll try to do some calculations here. In Malaysia the average family income is RM3000 (Father works, mother doesnt). I understand there are a lot of families whose income don’t reach RM3000, but, to make things simple, lets take RM3000 as the figure. ok la right?

Okay, let’s start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son. ngam ngam..

    Calculation starts…

Electricity and water bil RM100 (no aircond, no home theatre, no water heater k?)
Telekom and Handphone bil RM100 (cannot make a lot of calls one you know? NO Streamyx also)
Meal for the whole happy family RM775 (3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons????)
Papa makan/teh tarik during working hours RM155 (RM5/day, RM5 can eat what?)
Car repayment RM400 (a proton saga aeroback, 7 years repayment)
Petrol RM500 (Living in City, Jam)
Tol RM100 (The LDP, Sprint, Cheras Penchala link and etc)
    Insurance RM450
House repayment RM750 (NOT really a HOUSE u know? 750sqt Apartment only!!)
Tuition RM80 (got that cheap meh?? No, I don’t think so)
Older children pocket money @ school RM20 (RM1/day, eat bread??)
    School fees RM30 (enough ah??)
Younger children milk powder RM50 (cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)
Miscellaneous RM100 (shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)

oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so… No Astro, no movie @ cinema, no DVD, no CD, no online, cannot KFC, cannot Mc Donald, cannot go Park walk during weekend(petrol expensive), no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc…

Let’s use a calculator to total up… WALAO EI.. Shit! RM3610 already.. -RM610… How to survive laa tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian??? Our Deputy Prime Minister ask us to change lifestyle? How to change? Don’t eat? Don’t work? Don’t send children to school and study? Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of Rakyat Malaysia which still don’t earn RM3000/month!!!

What is this? Ini lah Malaysia Boleh.. Sorry.. it should be Malaysians Boleh, because we’re still alive and kicking!

    全馬的家庭平均收入=RM3000(父親工作)
    這個數字有些家庭還不到,不過為方便起見,就拿這個數字來説吧。
    一個家庭有4的小孩(1、3、6、9嵗),母親沒工作,一輛小車,一間小家。。
    開始了。。。
    家裏的水電=RM 100 (注意:不能有冷氣、有熱水花撒、電腦、音響的)
    家庭式電話:RM 50(不可以亂打哦)
    家裏每月的吃費:RM 600(每天 RM 20,三餐)
    父親的用費:RM 400(外面工作的需要,如吃、用)
    車期:RM 300
    車油:RM 400(城市)
    屋期:RM 600(還只是組屋的那種)
    保險:RM 450
    小孩的零用(讀書的) :RM 30(每天RM 1,在學校吃什麽?麵包?)
    補習:RM 50(有這樣便宜嗎?)
    學費(包括雜費):RM100(還不包括買書的哦,因爲書是借的)
    1嵗小孩的奶粉飛(每月):RM 50(還可以吧?)
    家裏雜費:RM80(材、米、油、鹽、厠紙、洗髮水等等)
    3嵗跟6嵗的小孩不用算。
    電視沒得裝Astor的
    父母親沒手機
    一共:RM 3130
    還要倒貼 Rm 130…..
    以馬來西亞人口:2500万來計算
    馬來西亞的有至少1000万人或500万家庭沒這樣的收入
    馬路修了又該,有誰從中賺取?多少不見了?
    行政府庭用超過3000万來裝修!?
    吃的、用的都在起!!!!
    油錢起了又起!?(2000年 RM1.20、2003 RM1.35、2005 RM 1.62、2006 RM 1.92
    ?)
    工錢又不見的起!!
    這是什麽道理?
    Malaysia Boleh, Malaysian Boleh!!!

  • KLCC Protest II Photos

There were over a hundred personnel, present at KLCC at about 1.30pm today, from the Malaysian Federal Reserves Unit (FRU), blue-uniformed and plain-clothes policemen. They were anticipating a demonstration from unhappy Malaysians taking to the streets in protest against the recent 30 sen hike in petrol prices.

KLCC security guards also got in the act when they started ushering-in people/shoppers, both local and foreign, who were standing outside the mall trying to figure out what was going on.

The guards and policemen told people to go into the complex immediately, before they closed/locked the doors/main entrance. The cops claimed that they couldn’t ensure the people’s safety if the ‘law enforcers’ started retaliating against the protestors.

Soon after, at about 2.30pm the demonstrators, comprising of primarily members/supporters of opposition parties Keadilan (PKR), PAS (Islamic party), PSM (Socialists) and the Democratic Action Party (DAP).

The protesters, about 2000, walked towards KLCC from Hotel Nikko carrying party flags, banners and posters. They chanted slogans such as “Hidup rakyat, minyak naik rakyat susah” (Citizens suffer when oil price increases).

Politicians from the various parties took turns to speak through a loud-speaker, which was unfortunately not loud enough, to the crowd while questioning the rational of the price hike and the government on what has happened to money collected from oil exports from the country.

Their speeches were often drowned out by a police helicopter flying over the crowd and around KLCC, sometimes flying a low as about a couple of hundred feet above the crowd. Although the copter was intimidating, loud and menacing, the protesters seemed undeterred by it.

The protest lasted for over an hour and a majority of the demonstrators dispersed peacefully. However it has been reported that some protesters continued their march to Jalan Sultan Ismail where they were doused by FRU water cannons. There were no apparent arrests.

  • Where is rakyat RM0.33 Billion?

It has been 2 weeks after the petrol price hike on 27th February. So now the question is where is the RM0.33 billion? You may ask what is the RM0.33 billion.

Our government said subsidy and tax exemption borne by the government this year alone – from January to February 2006 – was RM1.19 billion and RM1.44 billion respectively. So after 2weeks, which mean 1/4 of the month(It should be 2/4 of the month, but no different). 1/4 of the RM1.44 billion would be RM0.33 billion, so where is the RM0.33 billion goes?

Do you guys see any improvement on the public transport? OR any action taken by our government to Rakyat Malaysia? I only see my petrol and food become more expensive.

There will be a massive protest going on today 2pm in KLCC. If you are there, write a big board and ask where is the first RM0.33 billion now. 😉
