  • Focus

Had lunch with eggman today, during lunch time, we have talked about “Focus”.

He told me that he did a lot of coding recently, caused him can’t sleep. When I met him, he was like not sleep for more than 48 hours, so I think he was too focus on his work.

I have the same problem last time, when I was rushing a project for dateline, it’s not that I do not want to sleep, but then you keep thinking the algorithm of the software. During that I still remember, I was sleeping, I dreamnt I am doing coding in my dream and found the way to write the coding, and I woke up.

Too much coding won’t caused you cannot sleep, it’s you are too focus on the thing and it keep spining in your mind.

Focus, don’t focus too much if you don’t have date line to meet la 😛

  • paulooi.com Oct Statistic Reports

Oct was a good month for my weblog hits. So I decided to take a look (at) how user(s) reach my page.

The unique visitors are increasing every month, from 500++ user to now 5000++ visitors last month

Obviously, most of the visitors are from Malaysia, some from US, China, and I suspect that are spams.

2000++ visitors are coming (come) from Google, I think google helps a lot.

and Thank(s) to petaling street as well, the pingsss linked more than 300++ users, usually is more than that, because there is down time in Petaling Street, so that is lower last month.

What are the top keywords that linked to my weblog? Mamula Moon, windows update hack.. and… FTEC!

    I Love Google

Seriouly! I love Google every much, why? Try so search some of the keywords here,
    FTEC Laptop
    tmnet netmyne
    ceo of tmnet
    tmnet malaysia

FTEC Laptop and TMNet Netmyne are my all time favourite. So, think twice when you buy FTEC 😛

  • Good Designers Redesign, Great Designers Realign

Thus, the differences between Redesigners and Realigners might be summarized as follows: The desire to redesign is aesthetic-driven, while the desire to realign is purpose-driven. One approach seeks merely to refresh, the other aims to fully reposition and may or may not include a full refresh. (Note that by “reposition,” I mean strategy and not physical location or dimensions.)

Don’t get me wrong—I too have played the role of typical Redesigner at times. We’re all entitled to throw caution to the wind and redesign as a means of staying on top of one’s game (e.g. redesign contests and portfolio sites). And besides, we can’t bear the full brunt of the blame—we’re creatives first, strategists (and info architects and project managers and coders and everything else under the sun) second. But I worry persistent redesigning with little cause often serves to promote only proprietary creativity, doing much to educate one in the hows of redesigning but little in the whys of realigning.
