Update 8th July 2008
Sold my Changkat View condo, at price of RM230,000 (bought at RM192,000), didn’t make any money, repaid for 2 years.

Bought myself a house, hopefully it can be ready in end of 2007 :)

Changkat View folks, I will post the development pictures weekly bi-weekly :P

    oh yeah I saw in Discovery Channel that the 100 storey Empire State Building in NY took only a year plus to build!

    Amazing speed. And now we are still building 25 storeys condos in 3 years time…..so much time given.. ehheheheheee

    Hey there Paul, nice effort in putting up a biweekly report on construction progress down at Changkat View. Which unit have you purchased at Block B? My friend and I are planning to purchase higher floor units at Block A. Do you know if the DUKE highway/interchange would affect any of the East-facing units at Block B?

    The DUKE highway plan is not release yet, can’t really tell how could it affect CV.

    Hi, leidee, basically there are 2 type, type C & type D; C1 & D1 is mirror image.
    You should go down and view the layout.

    from plaza damas, go staright down until u reach a T junction, u can c massive construction site at your left hand site. turn left at the junction and drive straight until u reach hartamas regency condo at your left hand site. go straight further after 2 traffic light u will reach a junction and turn left; another T junction/ traffic light, turn left, about 500m at your left is the show unit/sales office.

    I’m a new buyer here..just went to see the show house last week and made a booking for block ‘C’, which will complete in 2008. This is my first house, and i don’t really know the procedure/process for house purchasing..wondering if anyone could help explain the process and the things that i need to do?? Any idea which finance/bank is offering the lowest/best rate for housing loan?? Frankly speaking, i don’t really survey that place and don’t know whether is it a good one.. any idea?? Hope to know more about that place from you guys… Cheers..

    HI, future neighbours. Greenie: I think ocbc’s offer is rather attractive. I am actually screening through the offers. BLR-1% (1st 5 years) and -1.25% (rest of tenure). But most banks will try and match that to get your business i think. Lol hope’s not too late of and info for u? If there’re any better offers let me know! :)

    4) Enviroment noisy or not ??? > I believe it is not so noisy now. Might be slightly noisy once DUKE highway finish construction which is next to block b/c/d. I am not very sure of the noise level as at now. Will know once it is completed.

    i think public bank’s rate is the best..they have loads of homeplan (home financing) package…one attracts me the under construction package..0% 1st year then BLR-1.60% thereafter..that 1st year you could choose not to pay anything or you can service your principal for first year then your principal would reduced substantially..

    however, i really think a fixed interest is better..BLR might increase in the future especially after this election..there’s few banks giving 6.2% thereafter 3 years >)

    anyway i am a new potential buyer..i have booked block D type C 13th floor.i really want 8th floor but all fully booked.though im not chinese i do believe the feng shui and good numbers..

    hopefully we’ll be in a good community at CV..im just worried that a lot of foreign workers staying there..am not prejudice but living in the KL,you have enough problems with under paid jobs,traffic jams and over-priced items..huehue..
